Her reserach intersects Spectatorship, Contemporary South American Cinema and Adam Phillips' Theory of Desire.

She has also just been acepted to an artistic residency in the South of Sardinia come Spring'21.

Her written work has been featured in Lynne Sach's Abecedarium: NYC and Ignorância Times online.

Karen came on late into the project and acted as co-writer, helping bring it into shooting form. The release is warmly anticipated in Portugal where the musician at the center of this biopic has his strongest following.

This means that Appleton Square Gallery in Lisbon will host a solo show of her work, and during that Karen hopes to shoot the third and final installment of this trilogy.

Karen will start pre-production on this during her summer stay in Lisbon while attending the Disquiet Literary Workshop.
