The Narrative of Inadequacy
A friend recently asked me “where is the sublime of failure?’ and I felt compelled to address the theme of desire in the hands of its mismatched execution.
The Narrative of Inadequacy delves into the unpredictability of physical intimacy, an experience that antagonizes the representative broadcasting that constitutes much of our social interactions in the age of virtual existence. Stripped of idealization, inadequacy proves to be an experience that beckons us to wrangle with that part of ourselves which remains immune to cognitive organization. First segment shot in NYC, second in Istanbul and third( upcoming) will be shot in Lisbon and close this trilogy with a solo show at Appleton Square Gallery.
SCREENINGS: The Armory Center for the Arts, Los Angeles // Bop Decameron, Florence, Italy//Molt! // Atelierhof Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany // Espacio Oculto de Arte, Madrid, Spain // Halka Center for the Arts, Istanbul, Turkey// Appleton Square, Lisbon// Princeton University, New Jersey, USA
